Here are a few sneak peeks at my latest project. The QB5 girls are making a "stitchlet" each and we will send it around the group so that we can all add a special stitched gift.
I am hoping I can achieve an aged look to mine.
As it's Friday evening here, I'm hoping you've all had a very productive week!

Very pretty indeed! Looking forward to seeing more! Your QB5 Group sounds cool - is it an online group?
It's Friday lunchtime here in the UK and I am just having a breather in the middle of housework day!
Sorry to say I haven't had a productive week craft-wise at all but that's the way it goes sometimes! I'm off to a huge show tomorrow - Sewing For Pleasure/Hobbycrafts & Fashion & Textiles in Birmingham so hopefully will let the credit card have an outing and come home with lots of goodies to inspire me.
Have a great weekend Carole!.

Yes, it DOES look amazing! Can't wait to see it all.
Goodness, I will have to be on my best behavior with your stitchery. Say, please, thank you, and extend my pinky while I stitch. Can't very well work in black, purple and red floss here! :D
I am with Patty. This will be something different yet again!
Wow, you have so many beautiful creative ideas Carole. My postcard arrived in the mail yesterday and it's already been to one group for show and tell. thank you so much for sharing your gorgeous work.
Such a great blog, I enjoyed reading it so much. Plus it is kind of neat to read about a blogger from New Zealand. You are the first I have ever came across. First let me say that you designs are absolutely unique and beautiful and I enjoy reading your blog a great deal. I hope to come back and visit soon.

The QB5 group sounds like fun. Love this piece so far. What is that fabric I keep seeing repeated in your work...it's white...with a very loose weave...almost like a cheesecloth...only the threads seem much thicker...I see the rose in your banner is also laying on it??!
How lovely Carole. I love the way you always keep us guessing what you are doing. It is Saturday arfo here in Australia and I am watching the Formula 1 Grand Grix.
mmmm love men in racing suits!!
Have just finished my first part of Web Challenge for Queesntown 2010 Symposium. Jenni S
I'm very excited at the prospect of this little beauty passing my way, can't wait! Mx
