New class coming!

Hi everyone,
Well finally I can reveal my latest quilt, (now that it's finished). Here is....

The Great New Zealand Road Trip

I must fess up that it's not totally my own idea. I saw the little cars on the Laundry Basket website, they were plain on a plain background. So I decided that I could put them to use and create a quirky quilt that took quilters on a road trip around New Zealand.

It starts off right up the top of the North Island with the beaches and holiday makers and slowly wends its way south to Bluff in the deep South. It has cars with surfboards and luggage, cars crashing and a 'crib' and wee caravans. And there is plenty of scope for you to add touches that would make it unique to you.

Of course it's a little quirky and wouldn't be complete without some bunting in there.

Oh, and a lacy curtain blowing in the breeze. There are a few mishaps along the way too, it's not all plain sailing - oops, I mean plain driving, for these cute wee adventurers.

 Buddy sure likes it!

I will be teaching this as a two day class at the Krazy Cow Quilts in Levin in Term two,
and am available to teach at other venues.

Now I can move onto my next project!

That is cute! We've been to Bluff, we took pics of ourselves standing under 'the' sign.

Wow this is absolutely amazing - it must have taken hours - and what a fabulous way to remember a holiday

This reminds me of The Road to My House! A series perhaps?
