I forgot to tell you....

My article was published!
Heritage NZ Magazine is published for the Historic Places Trust. It is published 4 times per year. The Editor asked me if I would write a 1000 word article on the care of vintage textiles.

It was a very enjoyable article to write!

I wish all my uni essays were this interesting!! ;-D

Congratulations ! sorry not to have replied to email - my fabric journal will be done when the mood takes me - I don't really know what I'm doing ! I haven't done aymore. The first was about 12 x 14 cms which is a nice size. Really I want to stitch it all - but I/m a terrible sewer !

Very nice article Carole, congratulations on having it published. I've been torn between between the balance of caring for quilts that my mother in law and my husband's grandmother made, and displaying and enjoyng them. I used to use them, but decided it was too hard on them because I have cats. But, I'll probably let the next person store them in the acid free boxes.
