March has arrived! Special celebrations!

March is here again, and do you know what that means?
Madness and Mess is turning 2! My very first post was March the 2nd.

Almost 500 blog posts, and over 70 followers!
And so many friendships - near and far!

To celebrate my blogging birthday, I have decided to throw out a challenge.
Last year I gave away a gift each week for the whole month.
This year I decided to take it to the readers.

This is how it will work:

For the first 3 weeks in March I will give away 3 of my collectible postcards,
I will make a draw at the end of each week from the weeks comments,
(and comments can be made on any blog posts not just those made that week)
.

and each
winner can pick a post card from the 3 pictured here.

Then the fun begins,

during the month of March, I want to see if I can get my followers
to exceed 100.

Can we do it?
You may have to spread the word!

If we can exceed 100, by the end of the last week of March I will
make a draw from all the names of my followers for
this beautifully bound, hand made journal.

Pages have been prepared for use

And I have started adding treasures to the pages myself, to get you started.

It's ready for you to start using.
Record your holiday, keep memories, treasures, goals.

It's my gift to you for following my blog.

So, do you think we can do it?
Can we make 100 followers?

Make sure you are a follower, if you want to have a chance of winning this gorgeous journal!

Beautiful work! If you hadn't mentioned your blog on Mixed Media Art Friends, I may not have found it, which would be a shame! Thanks for the link, because I love your cards and your other work. I will definitely keep an eye on your blog. I may not be able to become a follower since I don't have a blog of my own. I'll check.

I was amused by the mess in the guest room. I hope the bird wasn't a pet. Cats will be cats, but I sure wish they would get over the bird thing. One of my cats brought home a bat and thus had to have a second rabies shot.

I wish you success in your desire to make a living as an artist. Since so many of us live all over the world, maybe online classes would be a good way to go.

Dear Carole
i've been following your blog for quite some time now - first silently and now that i started my own i added you to my list! i totally love what you do and especially the quilt made of all the different stitchings is such an awesome idea. whenever i check your blog (having a look at all the different blogs on my list really makes my days) and catch a glimpse of the clock on your site i realize how far away you live - it's basically on the other side of the world.
well, i just wanted to let you know that there's someone far away (who's awake when you're asleep and vice versa):-) who admires what you do!
