Here it is, our first lamb of the season!

Our first lamb has arrived and his mother is not feeding him. So, it's out with the bottle. It's so cute, but I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon!!

Have a great weekend everyone!
Carole :))

How cute - but the words mint sauce rather take the edge off things don't they?!! Hope his Mum will soon take over for you as it must be hard wok feeding him all the time by hand.

what a cute little lamb with his little tale jumping up and down! You have a lot of work, feeding him time after time every day. I never understood why the mother-sheep refuses her own lamb?

He probably thinks that you are his real Mum now.

So darling! I was just wondering last night if you had new lambs and would be posting pictures. Videos are even better. Thanks for sharing them.

Oh that is such a cute little lamb and how sad his mummy won't feed him. Makes me homesick....miss seeing the sheep here where we live in Oz.

What a sweetie baby! But You need to have a serious talk with his mum and tell her to stop shirking her duties because you have art to create. ;-)

Oh Carole,
What a darling little creature.
Why won't the mum feed him?
Do you "grow" them for their wool or their meat?
Thanks for sharing

OH how precious!!!
I was going to suggest the name of
"Flower" like the cute little skunk in BAMBI, then I heard you say HE has a full tummy LOL

I told Mr M about your lambie feeding dilemma and he wondered if the Mother was engorged ... long story to go with that comment heehee!

so glad you shared these videos with us Carole ... I adore nature!

Great to see the black lamb have some mates for chasing and jumping games. You could start with the alphabet naming them - Adam, Boots, Curly etc!!! Just a thought!!
Made the lovely cake recipe today - used Stewart's 62% proof brandy as I didn't have sherry!!!! It is yummy.
