Oh dear - free motion quilting? Gulp!! I've never done it and it scares the living beejeebers out of me. I can see a lot of long-distance hand-holding in our futures!!

I've got THE BASIC Janome machine, I don't think it can do free motion?????
What is that gadget on your machine???
Let me know!

Oh, come on folks - free motion quilting is just like doodling with a pencil except the pencil stays still and you move the paper. If you can doodle anything you can do free motion! :) You just need to be able to drop or cover the feed dogs on your machine and have a darning foot. No prob!

Can't wait to see what this class is going to be! :) I _love_ to do free motion work (though am a bit rusty)

I love free motion quilting. I think I need a new machine. Maybe I should ask for one for Christmas! I can't let my feed dogs down, but I can cover them....not as good, but better than nothing.
