sewing again, it's a definite sign!

I'm sewing again,
it's a definite sign that one of my many vices is in full swing.

I haven't worked on anything major for a couple of months, and felt like I needed to. I need to work with the sewing machine...
So out with the stash and a challenge to use some of my scraps, decided to use up the remains of the batiks from the quilt I made for Mr M&M.
After loads of measuring and cutting, I'm off on the sewing leg. It's coming together quite quickly.

However,
it's a sign...
when I'm procrastinating I sew,

how about you dear reader, what do you do when you procrastinate?

I also have several others...
when I'm angry I clean,
when I'm stressed I garden
and when I'm down in the dumps I eat.

I am sewing because I have my final assignment to write, it's approx. 3500 words. It's a biography.
And I'm a little stressed because I will be finished university in a few weeks time and will urgently need to find a "real" job! LOL

Did I tell you I weeded the garden?

Oh well,

here, have an apricot pie!

Procrastinate=well carole all I do when I procrastinate is sit at my work desk and shuffle stuff around.I could spend 3 days sitting there and all that has happened is the stuff has moved-like the deck chairs on the Titanic.

Procrastinating is me wandering around looking at everyone else's blogs and work, rather than working in my own sewing room! At least you will have something lovely to show for avoiding the bio. Nancy

Oh, I'm very good at procrastinating! I pull out a bunch of beads or supplies to start working & before you know it an hour has gone by & I have done nothing but look at them or browse through more drawers of "stuff"!

With all of those remains of the batiks you have, there is a great online class to take "REMAINS OF THE DAY" with Mary Ann Moss at: http://dispatchfromla.typepad.com/ and you can use papers also, check it out. Will you please give us your apricot pie recipe?

Ok Herm, I have to say these were the quickest to make, some pre-made store-bought sweet pastry and a jar of apricot minced fruit. Mmmmm, you can whip them up in next to no time!
