A fabulous start to Easter!

What a beautiful morning! And lucky lucky us, it turned into a beautiful day! A clear blue sky and pure sunshine! Bliss, what more could you ask for?
My Mum sent me down a largish box of spring bulbs, so thought I'd get these planted today. I have almost planted the whole drive now, only one wee gap to go. Another 100 bulbs should finish it.

There were quite a number of these vintage cars on the road this morning, there must have been a rally somewhere. I took a break to watch them all go past. What a glorious day.

Then I thought I heard something ...... in the distance ...... a familiar sound .....and yep sure enough, I spotted him, through the fence, coming our way! Can you spot what I was looking at?
And sure enough here he was, up close and personal! A top dressing plane! Now I know that we live in the country and that we are surrounded by farm land and the farmer is running a business and he needs to look after his land, but he top dresses fertilizer on regular basis, and I hate it!
Every time he comes to top dress I'm out there with my camera! I actually love to watch him flying the plane as he dives and sweeps and half loops etc... but then he drops all this crap all over the paddocks all round our house.

Straight for me, this is our boundary fence above, and notice he has turned off the fertilizer? I wonder if that's cos he can see me watching him with a camera? Time and time again he flew low over me ......
leaving all this in his wake.
I think he tries to get as close as possible especially when he sees me watching him! Oh well, better get back to my bulbs!

And they are all planted, nice and snug, enjoying the warmth of the soil, and waiting for spring! (Can you see the gate in the far distance? I've already planted bulbs all the way down to there. They look stunning in spring, remember the pics I posted?)

Well hope you all have a lovely Friday!
Carole ;D

I echo Linda's "OMG"! You will have quite the flowery display come spring!

We have crop dusters here in Missouri too. One farmer close by us uses one. We got to see the sky aerobatics last spring.
