Fighting my way thru the mess

I guess you all know how much I love to create a good mess? After the country fair last weekend I decided that my sewing room was seriously in need of some tidying. There was no space on either the tables or the floor!

I felt so much better after a few dedicated hours to cleaning.
I think the best thing about cleaning up messes is that it makes room to create more! LOL

Hope you're all having a nice weekend!
Carole :)

Ive turned my son's old room into my craft room, it still needs some organising, half of his things are still here but i kind of like it like that, it makes me think he is still here in some way. You did a great job on your space!

Oh, good job! My sewing room seems to always be in need of serious tidying up. Like you, once I clean it, it only looks good for a short time till the next project(s).

OMG--That messy scene just warms my heart. I was forced to clean my mess up by a pair of plumbers--my space shares a wall with a bathroom--which developed a leak in the wall--rather than tearing out tile in the bathroom it was better to go thru the drywall on my side. Oh well...found stuff I hadn't seen in years! (grin)

Don't you just love it when you visit someone whose sewing room is a mess and you know with relief that you are not alone in this world.

Ooooo! That's inspiring! I'm in a bit of a mess after writing, photographing and posting a tutorial today. Must spend tomorrow finding my desk again.

I am mid-way through exactly the same thing - couldn't see the floor for the stuff!
Your room looks wonderful - just the perfect place to play...

Well done you!! I can hardly walk across my studio at the moment, a clean and a tidy is well overdue, the shame of it, lol

A woman after my own heart! I tell my quilting friends I can either be sewing or cleaning. Well you know how that usually ends up! Although, like you, I do pause occasionally to get organized - probably not as often as I should though! Enjoy your tidy space while it lasts!

Carole - I am so glad to see that other people get into as big a mess as I do. It does feel good to get it all straightened up though.

Now that we have had our first snow storm of the year I am looking at your garden photos with longing for those fresh veggies and warm air. It has been below freezing for several days here now...burrr!

Wow! I think that cleaning not only creates space for crafting, but also gives a feeling of fresh beginning :)
