OK, so here is my progress update on my book cover. I think it stillneeds something, not sure just what however, will tinker for a while!
the typewritten note at the bottom, which I will have to do some
thing about, because it's way to pale, says:
"She searched high and low for arted hearts"
Of course the theme of my book will be hearts - if you hadn't guessed!

OOooh - I'm coming to NZ in several weeks,thanks for the pics! They just add to the excitement. I'll have myself a 3 week whirlwind tour of the North Island. Bad weather or not, here I come :)
I love your fabric heart book. I especially love the woman on the front. She so looks like my mother from back in the day. Do you mind sharing where you found the image? I'd love to use it in my mother's birthday card.

Katie - You will have a fantastic time, no matter what the weather! The image of the woman is one I photocopied a couple of years ago and had filed. I can not for the life of me remember where I got it from. I can post you a photocopy of the image if you like. I don't have a scanner, so can't email you a copy. It's only in black and white. Send me an email with your address if you want me to post you a copy.
