the middle of winter

It's the middle of winter, there is snow covering the distant ranges and we've had a few very crispy, crunchy frosts.
But we always seem to have a gorgeous day once the sun breaks thru.

There's not much happening in the garden, the strawberry plants are keeping a very low profile.

There are a few rose blooms, but not many

a few passionfruit left on the vines, yet to drop

But the sunny days mean only one thing.... it's time for a really good beauty treatment!

The girls are ready for their bi-monthly pedicure!

Just the thing for a bunch of expectant mums! LOL

Hope you've all had a lovely weekend!

Well its those perspectives again--- Such lovely photos but you would need your bikini here in South Devon. My dad was a vet so I love to see the sheep. Sleep tight as I am enjoying my day--- Oh the fun of blogging and sharing our differences

Wow, I've never seen frost on a rose before, what a fabulous shot. Loving the other frosty shots as well, I so miss it, I'm a winter child, loving getting wrapped up and cosy. We're in the middle of a heatwave that shows no signs of stopping, phew....

What gorgeous photos! It's hard to believe you're in the middle of winter when we're in the middle of summer up here! Now what would be cool would be to spend our winter months down under and be in your summer months!!! :D Marva ps - still waiting for more news about the next workshop!

Love the cold, crisp pictures! Makes me feel a little cooler. I love the sheep. We need more sheep pictures.

Have a good week

Oh, Carole, I too love your winter photos especially since we are hot and humid. I think back to our snow last winter and still am amazed with the winter time and the beautiful frost!

The frost looks YUMMY and refreshing (says she who is expiring in the Missouri summer heat). Your ewes wear their pregancies well. They positively glow!
