a little bit of paint and water

I decided I would get my paper and little box of paints out and work on another lesson from the class I did a few months ago.

My aim is to be able to keep a journal that uses all manor of embellishments, but before
I start my journal journey I have to learn how to draw, perspective and colour.
-Just the basics would be good!

Oh well, I'm having fun practicing!

Are you learning anything new?

Carole :)

I think those paintings are excellent and will look great in a journal - I wish I could do it too. I did do one lesson but whether I will continue with it or not I don't know - there are only 24 hours in each day and there are so many things I want to do more.

Yes I am also enjoying water colours, just finding a little difficult to know when to stop!

Wait, I thought you said you couldn't draw or paint. So these paintings are someone else's? ;)
They are looking pretty good.
Perspective is really over rated. Trust me.

It looks good Carole! Who says you can´t draw?? You should see me drawing, I´m hopeless!!! Should do something about it, a little course would probably help ;-)

Take care, do you have a good summer in New Zealand? I saw lots of pictures on the news from Australia/Queensland, it´s awful! Feel so sorry for the people. Weather´s gone crazy everywhere, we have a very hard winter, snow in Southern Europe, floods in Australia... Hope you´re alright!

I've done some pastels and a little in oil, a long time ago. But keep wanting to try water colors. Wanting to...

Wouldn't it be lovely if finding you, would push me to actually put myself in motion, on this? :-)

Gentle hugs...
