I glanced briefly at the books, however not briefly enough! I spotted a bird! Now this on it's own is neither here or there, but it just so happens that I have a lovely friend who adores anything bird related.
Darn! I know that this would be perfect for her.
It had been a library reference book, and therefore not allowed to be removed from the library. It was being discarded, I just had to have it!It weighed an absolute ton!
I just managed to squeeze it into my bag, and just managed to make it to the car!
But it was well worth it I think, for all the goodness of bird speak it contained! BUT, let me just say.....I will not be posting this book as it is to you Linda! (I would have to sell the car to be able to afford the postage, LOL!!Hope you all had a great weekend!

OMG! I was laughing so when I read this. No, you shouldn't mail it to me....just in pieces. haha I need to take a photo of the large book that I do have and color copy all the time so you won't feel too badly for me. And then there is the wonderful small one you JUST sent me that I so adore! You are soooo good to me.

Your book adventure is one only a pack rat or an obsessive bird collector would get! hence, both Linda and I "got it" ! ha ha ha ha ha!
