Hi Carol, spring is such a lovely time! On my last trip to Twizel (last weekend) I travelled up very early on Saturday morning, along the Kakanui Valley Rd which is predominantly dairy farm area, there were so many cute little calfs, so tiny, and clean fluffy big eyed cuties!!
Oh my goodness they are SO precious!! LOL at the nosey neighbours, these are such great photos :) How DID you get them to colour coordinate like that??
these little lambs are sooo sweet Carole. I got to be a nanny for some sheep farmers when I was just out of high school and it was so cool. I was there during lambing. Had never been around it so I was in awe. I also help shear for some friends if I am around. I help sort, not shear(not that talented, lol). Love learning about it though. Even got my daughters out there one year. It was hard work but fun. Had to drop bye and say hi. Love the tag quilt. Been busy hauling oil. Going into Canada this week. Only 2 of us have our passports sowe are the guinea pigs for the first runs. Been running my buttocks off(literally, lost 35 pounds since I started this job in Dec.) Trying to clean out craft room to turn it back into a guest bedroom but got tired so jumped onto the puter for a few before bed. Hugz, Scary

Oh too cute!!! What beautiful little faces!
The lambs are adorable. Are you on a farm...or just enough land big enough for livestock?
precious precious wee ones, and the protective parents are pretty darn cute too! a very special time of year for you all!
