Chris our elderly pet sheep has passed awayhe was very old, may be 10 or more years
and we think he had a stroke
I don't know if sheep have strokes
but he seemed to loose the use of legs on one side of his body
he cut a dashing figure amongst the other sheep
he was a leader amongst followers
he's gone to that great green pasture in the skyI hope he gets to eat slices of bread
whenever he wants them
and that the rivers run with sheep nuts
some of his favourite things

That's sad, you will miss him, but I'm sure he is having a lovely time among lush green grass with nice young girl sheep.
So sad! We had a sheep when I was young called "Jenny" who lived to a ripe old age. We had a bakery and the sheep used to like to eat the leftover buns and doughnuts! I didn't realise that she died at first 'cos Mum and Dad didn't want to upset me.
What a sad day. But what joy Chris gave you for so many years. Hugs through the miles to you from me.
That's sad, especially after such a long time. Perhaps he'll bump into Hammy the Hamster up there, hugs Mx
Ahhhh.... a lead sheep! Those are hard to come by. I know he will be greatly missed...I'm so sorry. I bet he and Hammy are friends now.
I'm so sorry to hear about Chris. He sounds like he brought you lots of happy times.
awww Chris certainly was a handsome fellow and I know he had a good life with you dear Carole....such sweet eyes peeking out of the fence, precious photos!
Pets are so wonderful and it is so sad to lose one! My heart is with you....happy grazing Chris....
Maybe this post should be titled "G.I.P". Erm, "Graze In Peace". Sorry, I couldn't resist. I am sad that you lost one of your favorites. I'm sure Chris was like having a 4 legged relative.
