Silk paper up close and personal

Just thought you may like to see some pics of the slik paper I made yesterday. Please excuse the glare from the flash.

I love the intesity of the colours and the shine the silk paper has. The sheet above I added some metalic paint to it and also stamped it. I love the way it looks. I made 4 sheets in total, but the 4th was just a plain green sheet, which looked rather boring compared to these. I thought I might have ago at needle felting some texture onto it. See what I can turn it into.

It is raining here again, quite hard showers, although not cold. Yesterday I emptied the rain guage outside and there was 74mm of water in it!
For those of you who have been following my posts, quite a number of my bulbs are coming up, and I have some early ones almost ready to bloom!
A warm hello to visitors to my blog, I hope you enjoy your visit and don't be afraid to leave a comment, it's a great excuse for me to visit your blog! LOL

Hi Carole love the colours especially the orange one, can you sew it afterwards or is it too fragile? can't wait to see what you do with it all? Margaret
